Nursing and Healthcare Professions Camp

Providing students the opportunity to observe the daily professional duties and responsibilities of nurses and other healthcare professionals can be a valuable educational experience. This Summer, Southeast Georgia Health System, partnered with College of Coastal Georgia, offers a unique four-day Nursing and Healthcare Professions Camp experience, allowing students in grades 11 and 12 to shadow nurses and other healthcare professionals, be introduced to clinical care in both simulation and real-life settings and develop a better understanding of healthcare career opportunities. We provide a positive, safe learning environment where students are always under the direct visual supervision of faculty from College of Coastal Georgia and hands-on staff from Southeast Georgia Health System.
