The Women's Inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (WISTEM) is intended for students who are high school juniors (or equivalent), who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (who live within the United States), and are committed to the inclusion of women in STEM with a preference for students from low-income backgrounds, rural backgrounds, students with disabilities, and students who are first-generation to college. Invited WISTEM participants will receive a fee waiver for their first-year application to HMC.WISTEM is a six-month program that requires participants to engage with an on-campus residential component and interactive online sessions.
